Accessing the data files of various collections.

This section offer access to the 3 database products and you can associate any number of data files to each product.

The products supported are:

• HumanitiesCMD
  
• ResourceMD
  
• PhotoCMD
  

For each product you record details to help identify the collection's data file, such as: art collection, rifle collection, library, etc.

For each collection you browse to locate the data file. Note you can add any number of collection data files to each product. Using the HumanitiesCMD as an example: say you have a social history collection in 1 data file, and an art collection in another data file - add 2 records with links to each data file (cmdh_d.mdb in this example).

Data file functions Each data file record offers the following:

• Connect: this connect to a specific data file (required to compare data)
  
• Open: opens an displays the collections data file.
  
• Compare: opens a form that lets you view the collection's data file along side the central registry data.
